Writing a book is like a marriage – you’ve got to get on very well with your subject, because you’re in it for the long haul.
But there are other kinds of writing too – brief flings if you like, or holiday romances. I write articles, brochures for commercial organisations, advertisements and web copy. The principle is the same – words in the right order. That simple.
Whatever it is, nothing leaves my Mac unless I’m proud of it.
One client – a real pro, whose opinion I value – says that I under-sell and over-deliver on my skills and abilities. Is it a little bit sad to be proud of a recommendation like that?
OK, guilty as charged. I am.
